Then look no further. Chase The Wild Goose Hostel at Banavie, near
Fort William is a great place to take time out. Being located out
of town you will enjoy a good night's sleep. Recently refurbished,
the hostel is in great condition, is lovely and clean and has
dedicated staff ready and waiting to welcome you. Popular with
individual travellers, climbers, walkers, families and small
walking groups in particular, the Hostel sleeps up to 48 persons in
a choice of two 4-bed rooms, two 5-bed rooms, one 6-bed room and
three 8-bed rooms. Neptune's Staircase on the Caledonian Canal is
nearby and there are great places to eat out just along the
canal-side. The train station is 150 metres away and there are good
bus links too. Take a distillery tour, ride the Gondola to the
restaurant on Nevis Range, enjoy a mouth-watering take-away fish
supper at Sammy's.

Loch Lomond to Fort William, arriving Banavie 12.20 hrs (no

arriving Glasgow 1530 hrs (buffet cart on train).
