Sleeping up to 40 persons in 4, 6 and 8 bedded rooms this is the perfect Hostel base to explore the Western Highlands, take the Harry Potter train, climb Ben Nevis, walk the West Highland Way or Great Glen Way, mountain bike the slopes of Aanoch Mor, cycle the Great Glen Cycle Route,  watch the boats on Neptune's Staircase on the Caledonian Canal or just to chill out for a while on your travels.

THE HOSTEL

BACKPACKER'S HOSTEL. Situated 2 miles north from the West Highland Way and on the Great Glen Way.  The Hostel is located 100m from Banavie Train Station, on the road to Gairlochy close to the Moorings Hotel. The Fort William-Mallaig, Road to the Iles-Isle of Skye bus stop is nearby on the A830 'Road to the Isles'.  Travel north from Fort William on the A82, signed Inverness. After 1 miles, turn left on the A830 for Mallaig, Road to the Iles. After 1 mile, cross the canal and take a right turn, then 2nd left. Expect to see a large building with flags on the roof. If walking, take a shortcut to Banavie along the Great Glen Way (2 miles from Fort William).

BED LINEN INCLUDED. Bed bed linen is provided.  All beds have good quality duvets and pillows.

WOOD BURNING STOVE .The Hostel is generously heated, with warm wood burning stove in the lounge.

COUPLES AND FAMILIES WELCOME.  The Hostel has4- 6- and 8-bed rooms suitable for groups, families or couples.

BEDROOMS. Fully carpeted bedrooms offer warmth and a good night's sleep.  Good quality 3' bunk-beds which comply fully with the regulations.  Washbasin in each room, with light per bed.  

SELF-CATERING KITCHEN. Well equipped self-catering kitchen equipped with all the requirements to produce a good quality meal.  Fridge for fresh food, water boiler, toasters, kettles, cooking burners, etc.

LIVING & DINING ROOMS. In addition to the dining room, there is a lounge-dining area and a quiet lounge with wood-burner.

MODERN BATHROOMS. Yes, we can offer you a bath if you need it.

FREE PARKING. Parking is available.  If you wish you can, by prior arrangement, leave your car whilst you walk from the hostel.
